Once I got caught up in all of this, I was able to quickly find information on the internet, on what that faceless thing was, I started researching it and as always it all starts from the beginning for all of us, the beginning is the same, the thing starts appearing and all of us start running.
Although there have been several theories telling us why he follows this person, or that person, one ultimate theory has been brought to everyones attention. Slenderman appears to those, who find out about him, read about him on the internet.
But that theory is old like my fedora, it has been debunked several times now, Slenderman targets those people that he is interested in, the ones he stalked when they were kids, or some other reason.
There are also several account of Slenderman stalking those people that simply stumbled upon his handy work, I am one of those people.
And that raises a lot of questions:
1. Was Keith a proxy? Since it was his shack where I had found all those symbols at, written in blood (Operator Symbols).
2. If he was, was The Mayor aware of it, was he a proxy too? Is that why Keith was found dead and The Mayor released shortly afterwards? It is highly probable that the guards themselves offed Keith and someone landed a loan in order to release The Mayor.
3. Did I stumble upon a cult? These days cults are really rare to stumble upon in the proxy organization, these days proxies are smarter, more organized, to the point where they have one "Super" Proxy (Oracle) living in a big ass tower giving out orders to other "Lesser" proxies, they have pay checks, gun smuggling operations and all that organized stuff. The reason why I think it's a cult is because of all the bizzare writings that where in Keith's shack, written in blood, proxies rarely do that today, with all the "progress" they had made financially.
4. Does that mean that The Mayor was an Oracle? Doubt it, Oracles are not that sloppy, they wouldn't end up in prison. Which probably means that he is the cults leader.
Judging from that apparently there are two ways Proxies are working, one way is the "Business" way, they don't waste their time on peace offering mumbo jumbo, they simply receive orders to kill this guy, intimidate that girl from the higher ups, and they do it. They get paid for it, sort of like a mercenary organization.
The second way is the "Bizzare" way. Mostly cults that feel the importance of bringing a peace offering to Slenderman himself.
Does that mean that these two ways operate together, or separately, does that mean that there are TWO major proxy organizations, if so, what terms are they on with each other? Friendly? Feud?
